Golf apparel in Japan is a fashion category in its own right — technical, sharply cut, and often far more interesting than what you'll find at home. For many visiting golfers, a jacket or a few polos are the single best souvenir of the trip.
Brands worth knowing
- Master Bunny Edition, Pearly Gates, and St Andrews — premium, design-led labels under the Japan Golf brand house.
- Mizuno and Descente — performance-first lines with excellent fabrics.
- Beams Golf and United Arrows — fashion houses' takes on the course wardrobe.
- Honma — apparel to match the clubs, leaning classic and refined.
Where to shop
Victoria Golf and the apparel floors of Golf5 carry the broad selection. For the design-led labels, look in department stores (Isetan, Takashimaya) and the brands' own boutiques in Tokyo's Aoyama and Ginza districts. Pro shops at premium courses also stock tasteful, course-specific pieces.
Fit and sizing
Japanese sizing runs slimmer than US or EU equivalents — size up a notch and try things on. Staff are happy to help, and many stores offer tax-free checkout with your passport.
We can point you to the right districts between rounds, or have pieces waiting at your hotel. Ask when you plan your trip.
