18 holes · Par 72 · E. Sneed / 川田太三 · Opened 1992

Single green · Bentgrass · Championship

A private championship club in Tomakomai by E. Sneed and 川田太三 — orthodox, spacious and carved through Hokkaido forest, 15 minutes from New Chitose Airport. Host of the 2016 Japan Amateur Championship.

Opened in 1992 on roughly 500,000 tsubo of rolling woodland in Tomakomai's Uenae district, Hokkaido Brooks Country Club is a private members' championship course designed and supervised by E. Sneed with 川田太三. The 18 holes (par 72, approx. 7,300 yards, bent single greens) follow the natural topography in what the club describes as an orthodox style without gimmicks — broad corridors, deep sculpted bunkering and water woven through the forest. The club hosted the Japan Amateur Championship in 2016. Facilities include a 300-yard, 15-bay practice range and a clubhouse with competition rooms, bathhouse and sauna. As a members' club, play is by introduction — PRESERVE arranges access for its guests. Approximately 15 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport and 10 minutes from the Tomakomai-Higashi interchange.
