What we preserve
Hodogaya Country Club was founded in 1922 in the Hodogaya district of Yokohama, making it one of the oldest member-organised clubs in the Tokyo–Yokohama area and a founding member of the Japan Golf Association. The course occupies a wooded hillside that has been absorbed into the city's residential expansion but retains the narrow corridors, mature trees, and sloped greens of its pre-war routing. Hodogaya is private and member-only, with a waiting list for full membership reflecting its position as one of the oldest clubs in the country.
