Izumikawa Course Rusutsu

Izumikawa Course is Rusutsu's most approachable of the four layouts, designed by Japanese pro Nobumitsu Yuhara and opened in 2000. The par-72 course plays 6,326 yards from the white tees across low-lying, softly rolling terrain, with every hole shaped to be welcoming for beginners and women golfers while still rewarding accurate play from more seasoned players. Its most photographed moment is the scenic short par-3 6th with its pond-wrapped green, set against rolling Hokkaido pasture and distant mountain silhouettes that make the round feel as restorative as it is playable.
